At the start in the early 1980s with Race teams in the Dutch Touring Car Championship such as the BMW E30 and the Mercedes W201, the focus in those 1980s was mainly on the development of sport suspension for racing cars, tuning enthusiasts and other special projects for car manufacturers. Since 2008 Cobra Suspension is also active in the rally world.
